TIDE

Our Purpose

The Ocean Can't Wait.

TIDE Foundation protects marine ecosystems through direct conservation, community education, and policy advocacy โ€” because the window to act is now.

Together In Defense of Earth

Founded in 2011, TIDE began with a single coral nursery in the Florida Keys and a team of five marine biologists who believed that ocean ecosystems, given the chance, could recover.

Fourteen years later, we operate in 34 countries, have restored 847 acres of coral reef, removed 2.3 million pounds of plastic from the ocean, and protected 140 marine species with satellite-based monitoring programs.

The science is clear: nature recovers. The question is whether we move fast enough to give it the chance. That urgency drives everything we do.

How We Work

๐Ÿ”ฌ

Science-Led

Every program is designed with peer-reviewed evidence. We partner with 12 universities and publish all data openly.

๐Ÿค

Community-First

Conservation that doesn't work for local communities doesn't work. Our 89 community partnerships prove the point.

๐Ÿ“Š

Radically Transparent

Every dollar tracked, every impact measured, every report published. No exceptions.

โšก

Urgent but Hopeful

The ocean crisis is real. So is nature's capacity to recover. We lead with hope because hope drives action.
